One week old

Gracie is one week old today. She received her Pic line which is an intravenous iv line that is inserted into her leg. She will have her initial iv line removed, which is currently inserted into her umbilical cord. She has had several tubes removed and is currently only on a feeding tube and breathing ventilator that is in her nostrils. For ten weeks early she has a strong suck and enjoys sucking on the smallest pacifier we've ever seen in our lives. Tomorrow we will be able to hold her for the first time and we are so excited!! We are amazed at how much she has changed over the course of the week and can't wait to post more exciting details about her journey from the hospital to home:)

I'm Here!!!

After a very difficult month of mommy in the hospital with pregnancy high blood pressure, I'm Here!!!! Autumn Grace Harris was born Sunday, September 5th, 2010. She is only 2 lbs 8ozs, but she is very strong :-)...Apparently we didn't have to wait long as "Gracie" decided to come at 30 weeks. Thank God for this miracle, we will try our best to keep everyone updated with pictures. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers!

Autumn Lynn was an Angel that flew to the earth; her wings did not disappear at the time of her birth.
Her life so short but meaningful all the same, our lives were bonded to hers with sorrow we could not contain.
Her journey to and from heaven was faster than ever. Our love for her we could not sever and we’ll love her forever.
A promise was given 8 years ago, a little girl we would have in her place. God was true to his word and this Sweet November we will meet Autumn Grace.
